View Full Version : Custom Map? :D

If any of you have noticed, I've been on source SDK (Hammer). This is a Map editor and yes I have been making a level. My level is named CP_Shipment (if you have a cooler name plz post it :D) If you have any suggestions please say!

I will eventually release the Beta version here on the forums once I pretty up the map a bit more. If you for some reason desperately want to play it, hit me up on Steam and I'll send you the map.

**Story**
Red has a secret weapons depot in a hidden canyon. This depot holds many of Reds supplies that are shipped out to the battlefield on a daily basis. Blu spies were able to figure out the location of the facility and are staging a hostile takeover! Red must defend the supplies, vehicles, and most importantly the Missile Silo!

**Gameplay**
The map is set up in the same way GravelPit is (cap A-B, then C) but the map is not quite as large. There are a couple of buildings around the Caps that Red can use to build SGs etc...

To sum it up this map is basically Mini Gravelpit cept not as vertical.

For those who just go tl-dr. Here are your screenies! Yes i know the Lighting is craptastic but it'll be fixed. **NOTE** these pictures are [WIP] and are subject to change at anytime. Also many props have not been added into the map so it looks pretty empty right now.

Holy Shit, lookie who's back! My map is ready for play in terms of core game play. if you guys wanna try it out I'm all for it. I'll just mention that the map looks a bit plain / the lighting sucks, so I'm out to fix those things right now. *Update* I've added Newer pictures to the first post!

Ok, I added Ark's map to Server 1 for everyone to test out, and it's added to the admin menu list also.

It's called cp_shipment_v1b

If you've played the map please post any opinions that you have here so I can take note of them and add them to the next version.

in v2 there's already going to be...

-Faster cap at C

-texture fixes

-more props

-hole in the wall fixed

-Cap B will now give time
