New Source Update

An update will be released next week for Source. This update will more than likely include 2 new maps being de_port and de_inferno as well as a upgraded model of the CT Player skin.

I don't know if its my computer or if its steam, but I wasn't able to load up CS all day yesterday. It would start up HL2 just fine but CS was kaputt for some reason. Anyone else have this problem?

I did get a weird error yesterday, saying something along the lines of some file was already in use that I was tryin to load (which is odd)... but it loaded after the 2nd attempt...

but thats pretty awesome, now the CTs arent wearing football helmets anymore :lol:

You all talk about how good the new skin is for ct, then when I got onto CS after the new models were introduced and you could hear someone saying how shitty they look every 5 minutes. Honestly, I like them, but the majority of people dont for some reason, mainly cause of that tacky light orange/yellow visor.

but just SOMETHING isnt right about the models now.. maybe they just contrast the Ts too much or something

the visor is ghey, their posture seems to have been altered.. they are now twinkle toes who stand way too upright.. either the tightly fitting vest, or the loosley fitting pants, makes them look like they went on a diet, and all of the weight went to their hips... its not THAT bad of a model, I like the new helmet, but they even looks ghey from different angles... I dont know, I am dissapointed in the new model... they should now, or shortly be introducing skin model selections, personal opinion. :doubt:

In picture that model looks sweet but in the game there is something not right about it. Something is off and unbalanced.

Why do they work so hard on the ct models, when the t models are so old and ugly. CT's have camo-like skins, if your playing speznet (or however you spell it, i dont care) you go outside your pretty much fucked if their is a sniper in that tower. They should make multiple outfits like the first cs, like winter, jungle, desert outfits. That would be pretty sweet.

Stupid t's have those glaring white camo pants, whats the point of white camo if your anywhere except a snow level? And a black vest with that? Yea, that makes a load of sense to me.

Agreed. The Ct's Gain a big edge with that. Oh and since when do terroirsts wear winter camo, when there are like 0 maps that let this be an advantage. Maybe if we played on a white star, where T's ud blend in? Heh. :rolleyes:
