Banned?

Can someone tell me why I was banned? We were in the middle of dust 2 and I got a message from the console saying I was kicked. Then I tried to log back in and I'm banned. No warning or anything. I didn't think I sucked THAT bad. If you guys didn't want me around you could have just told me and I woulda left.

i banned this kid winterfresh b/c he joined the server with a [myg0t] tag. i banned him by name.

And then he joined the server again. So I checked his steam id:

I want to take this time to point out to GNG Admins that SUPPOSEDLY, "Myg0t" is no longer a hacking group... of course I still say watch these people very closely, but the "word on the streets" is.. they dont support hacking anymore (which, I also find hard to believe)

but none the less, I want to give all players a fair chance. I saw that wintergreen guy get on, and some one was complaining almost immediately, so he probably was hacking... but I didnt see what was going on...

I support what has been done, but just wanted to give out that FYI.

The way I see it....Dont let em Back...Why let someoen back in that has previously hacked? Why Give them a chance to get back in come in under different names...People arent stupid about hacking no more...Normally when someone is accused of hacking they will immediately leave the server to keep their ID from getting banned....I have never had the privelege to play with Myg0t. But Honestly why ban them then unban them? no point they hacked leave it the way it is...
I Just think it will further the point of keeping a clean fun server for people to come enjoy themselves. Not to be HACKED

Thanks guys. I did find it strange I was banned without any warning at all. I tried a few other servers before I left but they kinda sucked or had high pings. Hopefully I can get back on tonight.

You Know Sammie. That Guy is Odd....he comes in under many different Clan Tags. I have seen him with 2 or 3 only 1 i can remember which is dL. And we have alot of dL regulars.
I remember when the Mygot people came on and did all their noob hacking and they were banned. I think its good that as soon as someone with an affliation to that Clan is banned. If you cant trust one how can you trust any?
Especially in this game since hacking is so hard to call now with all the RANDOM bullshit that happens in source.
i.e. Headshots.
There are people granted better than alot of us GNG but its funny how these non-regulars come into a HIGHLY populated server with decent players and OWN US ALL.
Those are the people to be concerned with. I have seen alot of wallhackers suck ass because of the New Hitboxes.

I don't understand hacking games. Is that really fun? To me it isn't. How is it fun to cheat. What are they trying to prove? That they can win by cheating their way to the top. Fun is improving myself, skills, and techniques. Playing with higher skilled players and learn from them. I remember when I started playing here on the GNG server, I was descent but most you GNG'ers would own me, I still getted owned but not as bad. I'm improving and it's fun and enjoyable. Moral of this story....How is cheating fun? I might be missing something here but I just don't get it.

The whole reason of Myg0t is simple. There sole purpose is to destroy the gaming enjoyment of others through hacking, cracking, phreaking, and exploits of the game period. Anything that can kill you or piss you off in a short amount of time and they can here someone complain is what drives them to do what it is they do.

Hacking in general is just for people that dont have the confidence or skill otherwise to play the game. It gives them an upper edge over the opponent whether its from wallhacks, aimbots, speedhacks, map exploits, model exploits, and gaining Rcon/Admin controls. I remember an old exploit in CS that would allow you to gain access of RCON and ban the admins and lock out the server. They would change the password and just lock everyone out.

People are out to be malicious in the name of Anarchy and Stupidity. I guess if your 5 and you dont know any better thinking its a game, but in any case these people should be erradicated from the face of gaming.

Gaming nowadays is more than just a luxury, enjoyment, hobby, or past time. Gaming has become a competitive sport. Hackers are the meat heads that are pumped on steriods and cocaine trying to gain the upperhand.

We as admins have a job to do when it comes to the party crashers. We are the chaperones of the server. So if you see these fucktards smash there fucking skulls in with the admin ban command.

Then when its all said and done. Laugh to yourself and say, " I piss on you and your whole hacking race."

I also doubt there is a glitch in the steamids. I'm guessing you pulled up the steamids in the server and highlighted the one you wanted so you could copy it and paste. If thats the case, the line probably scrolled up on you (someone died, chat, etc) and you copied the wrong steamid.

no, that cant be the case AR. Did you see the screen shots i took? Clearly I banned Winterfreshes steam id. I didnt copy and past. I typed it. And in the screensot you can see it was not zeros id that I banned. It was winterfreshes id.
something is messed up with it. this was not a user error. look again

I never played on the server last night, it would deny me access every time. So if I was on the list it was messed up, or someone else. I was using Z3R0 last night on other servers with a backwards R. I'll try again when I get off work today, hopefully it will let me on. If so hope to you see you all there. I just realized I was the cause of all of this and i am extreamely apologetic.

Honestly i can explain all of it, no really i can. About a year ago after Source came out i downloaded the Splash Pac 3.0 PAF skin pack. It was cool but before i had it i had the mygot tag on. Some fags were hacking on the mygot tag so i put one one, but i didnt really hack (spurr of the moment, i dont know why).

So months later i delete the splash pack because the new skins were out for the ct's and i wanted to see them. When i deleated them, my name went back to mygot, and I didnt notice. So im in the GNG with a mygot tag so i quickly take it off and BAM im banned. I mean i see exactly why you did it, I dont blame you, i would have done the same. As for zero, dude im so sorry.

Im a regular in GNG and i was the first dL. there. Im the one that showed this server to Ed The Great. If you have played with me, you know i dont hack. I have my moments were i do good, but yeah i suck. I just wanted to clear that up for you guys I didnt mean for all this to happen.

As the whole multiple clans go, im not. Im only in dL. the thing is early in dL i was starting a clan called xS. (Xtreme spaniards) but that didnt go well so i said fuck it. yeah thats it. Sometimes i dont wear my tag, Like a wedding band, because if another clan wants me in it i might consider it. Its not that i hate my clan, its just my old clan was small and we did CAL and OGL and everyone knew each other, Like GNG. dL. has a million members and only the selected few play.
