Hl Ctf

Does anyone play CTF or have played? I use to be real big into CTF in my Quake days. I played HL CTF 1.1 beta it was fun but buggy. I downloaded 1.3 beta but haven't installed it yet. I was just wondering who would be interested when it was official or has a stable version out?

I used to always pick scout (or w/e the fast char is called) and run straight for the flag, dodging enemy fire.. used to work well for me

I never heard of a CTF, but I do remember TFC if thats what your talking about. Team Fortress Classic.

I started on TFC before I started playing CS. I always played Sniper, Engineer, or Medic.

Medics had the sweet as concussion grenade jumps you could do, snipers could dominate from just about any hiding spot, and Engineers gun turrets and Grenades were the shit.

TF2 has been in the works for some time now. They scrapped everything they had to accomodate it with the Source engine.

Currently a group of guys are working on a non valve released Source version of TFC. It looks pretty sweet from what I have seen.

TFC was pretty cool

I saw some of the best teamwork ever in that game. We played one group of clannies that would use medics concussion gernades to prople the Machinegunners over the wall on 2 fort.

I did when i played Unreal Tournament Game of the Year Version. KdK would take on clans and destroy them also we played Team Deathmatch and did pretty well.

I played that mad back in the first counterstrike days. I miss that dearly, I hope they release it really soon cause it rocked!
