Little Rock based Windstream Communications (http://www.thegng.org/reviews/1596) just updated their website (http://www.windstream.com/residential/broadband.aspx) to show they are now offering a new DSL tier of 12Mbps down and 1Mbps up. They're also now offering all of their tiers (including the new 12Mbps tier) for $19.99 for the first six months. After the six month introductory period, the tier is $45 per month. If you need a static IP the prices ramp up substantially:12m/768 is 119.99/mo with a 3 year contract.
12m/1m is 129.99/mo with 3 year contract.
It looks like this is ADSL2+ technology kids, so you'll need a Speedstream 4200 with the latest firmware. This thread (http://www.thegng.org/forum/r20357957-ADSL-2-NOW-IN-LEXINGTON-SAYS-AD) in our Windstream forum is chock full of user install success (and failure) stories. As with most launches, the carrier isn't being specific with launch markets so you'll need to plug your address into their pre-qualification tool.
