3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

4. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multinational corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.

5. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

6. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

7. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

8. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

9. HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.

10. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but Creationism should be taught in schools.

11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense.

12. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

13. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

14. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

15. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.

16. You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John Ashcroft can tell states what local voter initiatives they have the right to adopt.

17. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest (smoke pot), but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant (snort coke and become an alcoholic).

I fucking hate Bush's politics. He wants to arrest people caught with weed and put them into jail for years, while Kerry wanted to try and help them by putting them into a rehab clinic. (both are stupid but Kerry is the least stupid)

Im sure the guy that got caught with a ounce of weed sure learned his lesson getting assrammed while the rapists walk free. Congrats!

Why wouldn't you arrest people caught with weed? It's still illegal. In jail for years seems excessive for possesion but for selling I could see it. Here's a strange idea, don't get caught. Don't smoke it in public, don't brag about doing it in person (over the web should be safe) and don't be a moron about it and it's all good.

And rehab is for quitters.

Thats what I meant, people who just have posession, but werent going to sell. And its alot more complicated then just "dont get caught". All Im saying is hes being a over excessive.

I can understand jailing the dealers, like if they got caught smuggling across the border or some such. But Ive seen people got to jail for a few roaches in the ashtray, or for just a dimesack. Diffrent places have diffrent laws, like some places jail for less amounts, and some jail for more ammounts.

Honestly, I just dont like Bush, and most of the world doesnt. Thats just my reason for hating him. Not counting the fact that hes a idiot. They should save the jail space for people who do serious crimes like selling cocaine, crack, speed, heroine, meth, lsd, and on and on and on. Harder drugs should be more important to take care of first then just weed. They should start paying attention to crack dealers, Im sure thats more important.

The thing is weed is a gateway drug. That's where many people start so why not stop people before they get into the harder drugs? BTW, I was saying to jail those caught with weed. It sucks but it's the law. Personally, I'm a control freak and don't do anything so I don't have to worry but if I did I think I wouldn't leave butt's in the ashtray or carry my dimebag around with me. I'd be smoking it in my house or on my 100 acres of land and then burying what was left.

People say it's a gateway drug but it only really depends on the person using it and their personality.

Ever hear of someone with a "addictive personality". For instance, a childhood friend started smoking pot, and we hung out for a long time. He started talking about other drugs saying how he always wanted to try coke, and I told him that he shouldnt, its not worth it. But he didnt listen to me, and now his personality has totally changed, and he lost alot of his friend by just not talking to them for almost a year. I was smoking pot long before he was, and Ive never tryed coke or any other hard drugs like that. Ive thought about it, yes, but I have enough self control to say no. Some people dont.

It all matters about how you think and how you act. Saying weed is a gateway drug is sorta like a stereotype, like saying mexicans eat tacos. Yea, its true, but not in all cases. :tongue:

Honestly, I smoke weed usually cause Im bored. My town has nothing in it, literally. When I play CS its alot more enjoyable when Im smoking, and I actually get better when I do. Thats usually when I smoke, its usually a social thing for me too, like drinking.
