has anyone watched this film? it was recommended to me by a drunken acquaintance at a party. we were discussing the origins of religion and various other "deep" topics. i have watched this film a number of times over the past months and would like to engage you all in a conversation about the topics discussed.

if you havent seen this film, i highly recommend that you download it.

many of the thoughts and feelings that ive had in my life seem to be verified by the "facts" presented in this film. some of the questions that have plagued me for a while are not even relevant anymore when you take into consideration the ideas shown in the movie. for instance, why is the electoral college set up in such a way that delegates have the power to go against the will of the majority in a general election? the answer became so clear to me while watching the movie the only thing i could say was "of course, the electoral college is simply a system put into place to give the public the illusion of control." this question is merely an example of the types of things that are totally irrelevant to me now.

when taken into consideration, the ideas presented in the film made me reconsider the things i thought to be important.

at the end of it all i wonder if there is anything that a single person can do to bring about change? what can that person do if they are completely ignorant of the conditions that have shaped the world we know today?

for those of you that have seen the film please engage in this conversation with me. i am open to any topic that comes up regarding the film. for those who havent seen it please know that the films scope pretty much covers every topic that has or has ever had an impact on earth's society. one topic that i am especially interested in is the authenticity of the "facts" presented in this film. the consequence of which has lasting effects on each and every one of us.

Yes.

And not unless you can bring about a revolution amongst news blasted masses of overly religious peoples.
