It's only taken me two days to get sick of the medic "improvements" and this game altogether.
A. Everybody plays medic now. I log in to servers and more than half the team is playing medic, so doing anything else becomes pointless.
B. I don't know what gets "unlocked" at what points, but on most of the servers, the medics hang around in spawn charging each other and they never follow you beyond a meter or two outside the safe zone unless they have an uber.
C. I don't know what goal they are saving that uber for, but I'll have medics charging an uber on me, walk into the fray and they run away, letting me get sliced and diced.
D. When medics do wander into the fray, you can't kill any of them, because they are being charged by another medic in some kind of an unholy circle jerk.
E. Medics are mostly good for pyros, demos, and in some situations, heavies. They are a waste for soldiers, spies, snipers, engineers, and scouts, so playing those classes becomes increasingly pointless. The ubers are now so frequent that being an engineer is suicide, because sentries are overrun in short order.
So to sum up: Everyone is playing an incestuous class to unlock weapons to which there is no counter or counterpart, medics are useless to half of the classes and for the others, medics are saving charges to accomplish special goals. The result, total boredom.
I hope that everyone either works their need for medic accomplishments out of their systems in the next week or so, or I am going to wait, oh, a year or so for the next update. We all know how great Steam/Valve is at coming out with timely updates!
