So, whenever someone new joins vent, I usually have to adjust their volume in one way or another. I've never seen this before, so I can only assume it's not very well known.
Anyway, this thread (http://se7ensamurai.proboards75.com/index.cgi?board=sushi&action=display&thread=112) shows how to normalize Vent, so you shouldn't have to adjust anyones volumes.
