Steam Validation?

I am slightly concerned about my Steam's integrity.

Everytime I start my computer and Steam autostarts, I get this minimized window on the bottom of my screen that says validation and blinks, but it only offers an X and a minimize smaller option.

It just disappeared, but I will take a screenshot of it nexttime. On that note, how do I screenshot my desktop lol

Ummmm, use the print screen key? It probably says PrtScn. Or use a program like ScreenHunter (Free) (http://www.wisdom-soft.com/sh/sh_free.htm) that will make it really easy for you.

And why is this in the CS forum? It's not CS specific is it?
