Picked it up yesterday and damn....Live and D were right. This game is awesome. Multiple fatalities, pit fatalities, unlockable moves/fatalities/characters/costumes/etc, old school MK characters, and different game modes. This might actually be worth buying XBL for. I didn't have a chance to start Konquest just yet as the Call of Duty expansion pack has flame throwers and everyone knows flame throwers are better than fighting games so I had to play against some friends for a bit and ignite their clothes/hair.

One thing I'm a little disappointed in is the absense of Jax. He's always been a favorite of mine, and his face not being on the character selection screen makes me cry inside. How am I going to grab people by the neck and punch them in the face with my metal arms? How am I going to jump on their heads and kill them? HOW AM I GOING TO RIP OFF THEIR ARMS?!!! Damn you, Midway!!! Damn youuuuu!!

Baraka's inclusion makes the pain easier to bear, but it still stings a little.

Well Cold...You can sleep better at night knowing that Jax is in the game. There are a total of 24 Characters. Some of which are unlocked after you finish Konquest mode. There are hidden characters...and really hidden characters.

I dont know how far you have gotten in the game, but last night I finally just unlocked the last bit of the game I had to do. I left a bunch of the crap in the Krypt just because I didnt want to spend all night buying crap I dont need like artwork, gaye vids, etc. I did however unlock all the characters, costumes, and stages. One of the Characters named Kira I think seems to be a combination of Sonya and Kano. She has the Cannonball attack as well as the Kiss of Death. Interesting. By far my Fav Characters from the game so far are Scorpion, Ermac, and Noob-Smoke.

So far I havent found the hidden hidden characters. I have the initial 24 playable that are given and unlocked through Konquest mode. There are a few others that are really hidden. In Konquest mode you run into 99% of everyone who has been in an MK game including KungLoa, Rain, Shinok, etc.
