hey me and my friend got bored yesterday and decided we would make our own game, the graphics engine we bought is already set up (its only about 20$) , and i want to make my own models (skins, guns, houses etc...), i researched some 3d modelling programs but i dont know wich one to go for, people recommended blender but im looking for a second opinion

Stick with Visual Basic or modeling but pick one. You'll never get anywhere bouncing around between stuff.

You get bored because you can't go out and just "learn" something. You really have to something you want to do first even if you just make up a project. Just following tutorials online with no project of your own to work in is silly. Having a unique project presents you with unique problems that you will have to go out and do your own research on in order to figure them out.

You could do something in Visual Basic or C#, Java, whatever that goes with some of your other hobbies. If I'm not mistaken, you play the guitar or some musical instrument. You could start by writing a small program that maybe has something to do with that.

If anything, I have work I can outsource to you! HA!:lol:
