I would like GNG to be my home

I'm from the n00b community. I don't have a bad thing to say about my experience there. It's just time to move on.

I've been playing source on your server since last fall. Only within the last 3 weeks or so, have I been playing Source almost exclusively.

The honest reason I am here, is because I keep joining communties or clans at their peak, then a million kids join. I don't HATE kids, but I'm 27 years old and don't want to hear about what happened in study hall while trying to get a game in.

Everyone has been really kind to me on the server, and I honestly can't say one harsh word about any member.

Right now I have dropped all tags from n00b and n00b subclans. They have a great community, and I would put the tag back on to ring in a second, but there is just too much going on during normal pub play.

I'm planning on attending the meet in 'cola this july. Look forward to meeting you guys in person.

Snk - I do remember you for the couple of weeks right before I joined, but I wasn't sure if it was a clan name or what... slk, smk, etc. But yeah, we have been on the server at the same time a lot. Are you an SRT-4 driver? I had a civic, then bought this car for commuting. It has a few go-fast goodies, but it's basically a grocery-getter.

Thanks again for having me. Everyone here is cool, and I like the enviroment / players. My decision to apply here has only been re-enforced lately.

Took you up on that offer last night. If you see anyone wearing a [CSi] tag, they are friends from my website, www.clubsi.com - not the tv show. Most are housebroken, we just play late night anyway. omghi2uBBQ is not a hacker btw. :rolleyes: :wink: An AWP whore, yes.

I took this screen shot of wayne getting knifed, and didn't even notice my FPS until this morning. One day, I have 250+ ping and 30 FPS, the next day, I have the perfect connection.

oreX is still around. He isnt into Source yet until VAC2 is released. Currently as far as I know he is playing CS CZ in the OGL with a sub group of his.

It wouldnt hurt for him to stop in once and awhile, but thats basically what he is doing. I have seen him ghosting around though.

Well before we had the Source server I was in n00bfest from the end of 1.5-1.6.

GNG lost our CS Server after the first half of 1.5. We were running from 1.2-1.5.

I just found a low ping server that I could play CS on and it ended up being Alabama n00bfest. That the only reason why on the n00bfest forums I was registered a day after the website was created. Met a few cool people in n00b and a few douchebags as well.

I plan on it, but have to pick up some extra work this week if I am gonna make it down. I might also take a job Saturday, but I won't know until next week.

What sucks, is I had $200 put away specifically for the GNG weekend.

Yesterday, I went to visit my old fraternity house in Auburn, because it is getting torn down and replaced in a year or two.

I was taking pics, and some brothers asked me what the fuck I was doing taking pics in the house, and once they found out that I was an alumni, they dragged me to about 10 different bars. Last thing I remember was hopping in the bed of a Z-71, trying not to puke down the side of his truck.

So, uh, I spent $150 on drinks last night apparantly. :confused:
