Viewing Maps

Too see what maps we are running on the server.

While on the server bring down your console with that nifty ass ~ key.

Once the console is open type in: maps *

This will show all of the maps on the server.

Doesnt that show all the maps you have LOCALLY and not on the server?

No, All on the server.

I used it and it showed every single map we have available.

L1ve, when I do that it shows a nice little list. But I have tried some maps that are displayed and the server will say not a valid map or some sort.

Its mainly for people that have admin that dont want to hunt down the map names. Some of them can be odd because we have alot of customs.

Its just an easier way to get around having to do the magic hunt or keep a piece of paper next to you with the map names.

Shit when I found I could see the map names on the server I chunked the piece of paper with all my map names on them.
