guys i was just wondering if there are any plans to try using some form of cheat detection. lately it just seems there are so many players that use shitty guns that just get constant head shots , cant be flashed, know where every player is on the map. now everyone plays around calling everyone a hack but its getting rediculous especially when there are no admins in the server. i know yall like to give everyone the benefit of doubt. but this is crazy. if there are no plans to try to get rid of them could anyone suggest any servers that at least try to use cheat detection? its really ruining this game and server. just asking.

There is no cheat detection available for CS Source or else we would have had it the day it came out.

That is why we have admins on the server that can take control of any situation and if they are not on we can ban them from RCON if you leave a message on the forums, PM a specific admin, or contact us through AIM or another messaging service.

I havent ran into too many hackers on my time in the server except on occassion and they are banned on the spot.

When cheat detection becomes available I promise you we will be one of the first to have it.

btw, If you see a CS Source server that says Secure it is a farse. All of the "Secure" CS Source servers are running the VAC2 system, but it isnt catching any hackers. The system is actually just testing connections. If anything the Beta of VAC2 is keeping people out of servers and is on a try at your own risk right now says the good people at Valve.

So all in all there is no cheat detection, none worth using because they dont exist or dont work, and we have plenty of admins to take care of any situation.
