Alright, it's been nearly two WEEKS since I was supposed to have my DSL hooked back up. I've been polite because the building I am in is older and may not have the lines correct. I've gone down to the post office over 9 times now, ask why it isn't hooked up and been told that it will be done. NO DSL YET!!! Yea! I was supposed to get a call last night to hook it up and I sure did. ALL IN GERMAN, not so strange since this is the land of Mosels and Hamburgs... Except that I told them I do not speak enough Deutch to have a conversation with someone AND IT WAS A DAMNED RECORDING!!!!!!!! WTF, over. I told them it needed to be in English. The best thing about it all is I CAN'T DO A DAMN THING! That's right, I totally screwed. I could bitch and piss and moan and they still won't help; I could NOT PAY and they'll shut off my DSL AND PHONE, I'll be forced to get a new phone number with a nice 135 Euro set-up fee.

OH GOODY! They just called my house AGAIN WITH THE FUCKING GERMAN RECORDING. WEEEE! Usually, the way I work out stress like this is to play a nice FPS.... Hmmmm.

Going to go slaughter a few Krouts now...

oh and I got a parking ticket yesterday. WHO THE HELL DOESN'T PUT PARKING NEAR A KRAKENHAUS???????? (hospital)

Maybe you should take a "Deutch" (it's really "Deutsch" but I'm using Thunderspeak here) class so you can understand the people you're living around. Culture=good.

Sol and I feel for you Thunder. Just wait until you have to actually "turn off" your phone and internet. You would think that was easy right? No, you have to write them a formal letter stating why you want to turn off your phone/internet and sign it...at least that is what they were going to make us do. I just paid the last month, left it on , and flew to the states. What can they do to us over here lol?

I hope you get that anoyance worked out soon. I know it must really stink with no internet.

Well, finally got it turned on this morning. Took about 2 minutes. The tech called, said "You need DSL switched on? Da?" Nikki: "yes" DSL Tech: "Ok, should be green light now, dankeshien (sp?) shuss"

Blamo internet on. 2 weeks for a guy to flip a switch.
